Meet Candace B. Demary
Candace was born in Louisiana, but she's been living in Houston for over 20 years. She is married and has three children.
Candace earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1993 and a Bachelor Degree 1998 from McNeese State University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2002.
During law school, Candace had the privilege of interning for the Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr. in the 157th Judicial District Court in Harris County, Texas.
Now, her private practice focuses on family law issues such as divorce, custody, paternity, child support, modifications of prior orders, grandparent rights, and step-parent adoption. Candace was trained in the Collaborative Law process in 2008.
Her philosophy in handling family law issues is to assist the client in resolving the disputes quickly and fairly while avoiding expensive litigation when possible. If settlement is not possible, Candace will effectively represent you in a court of law.
Candace is a member of the State Bar College. She is committed to continuing legal education.
