Candace earned her Bachelor Degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1998. Candace earned her Jurisdoctorate Degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2002. During law school, Candace interned for Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr. in the 157th Judicial District Court in Harris County, Texas.

Candace focuses on family law issues such as divorce, custody, paternity, child support, modifications, enforcements, and step-parent adoption. Candace has served as attorney ad litem for children in CPS cases and as amicus attorney for children in divorce cases. Candace's philosophy in handling family law issues is to assist the client in resolving the disputes quickly and avoid expensive litigation when possible. Candace recommends the collaborative law process because it provides privacy and allows the client to maintain control over the outcome of their case. Candace is a member of the Northwest Houston Collaborative Family Law Professionals.

Candace is married with two children.
